The Wheel of Time

I have become engrossed in the world of Robert Jordan. More specifically The Wheel of Time series. I have become addicted to these books. I just started the third one but they are FANTASTIC. I'm so addicted, I didn't even try and find another book to read after I read the second. I don't want to read anything else until I've read all 12. Well, I may have to because sadly, Robert Jordan passed away in September 2007 and the final book had yet to be written. But a new author has been chosen to finish the last book and I can't wait until it comes out so that someday I can own all of them, plus the three prequel books to The Wheel of Time series.

Thanks to my brother (who gave me the first book for Christmas when I was pregnant with Ethan) I have found a substantial story to occupy my time and keep me interested for months to come.

IT'S HERE!

My new scooter is here. I was telling my dad on Tuesday that it should arrive sometime that day and it was coming by FedEx. Literally, right after I told him, the doorbell rang and it was the FedEx man! I assembled it, went outside and didn't do so hot on it...unless I was going downhill. I took it to the trail that's in town and tried it there. STILL hard to do. But I got the hang of it...after about 15 or 20 minutes of trying. It's pretty fun, but for someone who's not physically active (but in the process of becoming so) it's really challenging. I can't wait to go out again and do it on Tuesday (I have to work Monday morning) after I drop Ethan off! I'll put a picture up when I get home so you can see what it looks like. YAY!
