I Want To Cry

I'm hungry, I'm cranky, my legs are sore from taking the stairs all the damn time. I just want to go to McDonald's or Taco Bell and say, "Fuck this, I'm done!" It's very hard. Especially hard when one of the nurses I work with has already lost 11 pounds. I'm exercising, or at least doing some sort of physical activity at least 5 days a week, eating a whole hell of a lot better than I did, and she's just eating right! Oh, it makes me so mad! I'm not used to eating so little each day and I'm so hungry I just want to cry. I may do that tonight before I go to sleep...it might make me feel better.
My plan is to lose 20 pounds by the beginning of March and then keep going after that until I'm down to about 135-150. Once the first few weeks are done and I see my progress, I probably won't be so much of a whiner (or weiner) and I'll be a little more positive than I am now. Just keep giving me support and pep talks and I'm sure I'll do just fine...because let's face it, a $150 prize is gonna be quite nice if I can win it. :)

Alison, Honey it takes time to see actual results, you know that, you've only been at it for what a week now? You're doing fine. Just keep it up. But please remember you beautiful just the way you are. Stay positive. Buy veggies when your hungry like, small veggie trays. I heard that helps. But do not starve yourself that won't help or make you loose weight. You can do it. Keep it up. Love ya,

Amanda

nah, you're not starving yourself, i'm sure. you're just used to eating more and you're burning more calories which makes you more hungry. try eating some high protein stuff to curb your appetite. nuts are good. eat 10. i know, you're going to want to eat the whole can. but once it registers with your body that it has been fed (about 20 minutes after you eat them) you'll feel better. or a boiled egg. do you like those? (i don't)

make sure the foods you eat are wholsome. white bread is bad. a big hunk of red meat is bad. whole grains and lean meats and of course fruits and veggies. give yourself a treat every day. but only one tiny thing. if you like dark chocolate, buy some little bite-sized pieces, pack one and leave the bag at home. eat it when you're about to go crazy. and make sure it's not one of your trigger foods. if you can eat a whole bag of chips, your splurge food cannot be chips, etc. if you don't splurge a little, you'll quit. i give you permission to eat a normal-sized meal at a fast food joint once a week. just one meal. get whatever you want. but if you're a bad girl during the week, you don't get your splurge.

also, since you've increased your exercise, you're body is wanting more. the key is DON'T GIVE IN! it wants more since you're burning more. but if you don't feed it, it'll eat your ass. SCREW YOU, HUNGER! EAT MY ASS!! fo real!
